Cashier/Customer Service

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed neatly and attractively. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and payment methods. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the checkout area and throughout the store. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in supervising or training team members is a plus. Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
