Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a full time cashier. Need to be willing to work morning and evening shifts. Morning shifts are 5:45am to 2pm. Evening shifts are 2pm to 11pm. Monday-Saturday. Sundays the shifts are 6:45am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. Starting pay will be minimum wage. Pay increase after the first month. Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos to enhance their shopping experience. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and confidence, ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting regular inventory checks. Working with vending partners to make sure correct items are ordered. Be diligently checking I.D.'s for age restricted items. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Be able to stay on your feet for a whole shift. Must be 21+ Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and retail math calculations. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of grocery store operations including stocking and merchandising. Experience in retail sales, working with a variety of people and willing to learn in a fast-paced retail environment.
