- Professional Summary
- The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering a positive, high-quality service experience to customers, members, providers, and internal partners.
- Key Responsibilities
- Complete onboarding, role-specific training, and ongoing learning requirements while consistently meeting individual and team performance expectations.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of benefit plans, internal procedures, service standards, and applicable guidelines.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and written communication channels with professionalism, accuracy, and clarity.
- Assist members, providers, and internal partners with questions related to benefits, eligibility, claims, coverage details, and provider support.
- Resolve customer needs during the initial interaction whenever possible, while appropriately escalating complex or sensitive issues.
- Deliver a positive service experience by actively listening, demonstrating empathy, and ensuring customers feel informed and supported.
- Document customer interactions, outcomes, and follow-up actions accurately to support reporting, quality monitoring, and future service needs.
- Manage multiple systems, tasks, and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Meet or exceed productivity, quality, service-level, and accuracy standards established by the department.
- Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Escalate risks, concerns, or unresolved customer issues through appropriate channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Represent the organization with confidence, integrity, and professionalism in all customer and stakeholder interactions.
- Support additional projects, duties, and operational needs as assigned.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; customer service-related experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to follow through and maintain accurate documentation
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn new systems, products, and processes
- Customer-focused mindset with sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States

- This is a Contract position based out of Spokane, WA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
