We're a three-doctor small animal practice that has served the community for more than 140 years, combining a long history of service with high-quality, modern veterinary medicine. We're proud to be AAHA-accredited and offer a variety of services, including wellness care, surgery, digital X-ray, laser therapy, acupuncture, and more. Our Client Care Representatives play an important role in connecting clients with that care while keeping the hospital organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. Why Our Client Service Representatives Love Working Here Four-day work weeks Flexible, consistent scheduling that supports work-life balance Scheduled lunch breaks A mentoring and training environment designed to help you succeed Join an established three-doctor small animal practice Work with an AAHA-accredited team committed to high-quality veterinary medicine Be part of a positive, collaborative workplace where teamwork matters Enjoy a team culture that celebrates birthdays and milestones with theme days, cookouts, and more What Our Client Service Representatives Do Greet clients and patients as they arrive and facilitate timely check-in and check-out Help maintain an efficient reception workflow and manage client wait times Schedule appointments using the practice management software Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and team members Answer incoming calls using professional telephone etiquette Route medical questions and urgent patient concerns to the appropriate team members Maintain accurate client and patient documentation and records Process invoices and payments and reconcile the cash drawer Verify prescription information and client identity before releasing medications Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and workspace Complete assigned responsibilities accurately and efficiently while following established service standards Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment What You'll Bring Previous experience in a veterinary hospital High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and client service skills Excellent teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service Ability to follow hospital policies, procedures, and assigned responsibilities Commitment to learning, professional development, and continuous improvement A positive, dependable, and team-oriented approach Physical Qualifications This role requires the ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate computers, telephones, and other office equipment. Frequent computer, telephone, and office equipment use for extended periods is part of the position. Team members must also be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and move throughout the hospital to assist clients, support patient care, and complete assigned responsibilities.
