The Customer Service team is dedicated to creating positive and impactful customer service experiences for our clients. Rockmed is seeking a qualified candidate, full time or part time, to provide pharmacy support services to long-term care facilities, including insurance navigation, billing coordination, and medication access solutions for residents.

Position Summary:
The Customer Service Pharmacy position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of a licensed pharmacy. This position is responsible for supporting the preparation of prescriptions and performing a variety of technical tasks, all while maintaining compliance with legal requirements and pharmacy standards. Working under the supervision of a team lead or manager and in the presence of a registered pharmacist, this role is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence within the scope of responsibilities permitted by law.Position Duties:
Exemplify our team member expectations by fostering collaboration, accountability, quality, and respect for internal and external customers and personnel. Enter medication orders into computerized medication profiles timely and accurately; maintain accurate, complete patient medication records. Accurately maintain any necessary records or documentation, as required by law or the pharmacy, related to all medications that are filled, including but not limited to appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all HIPAA standards. Answer and return incoming calls from customers promptly, troubleshoot problems, and respond to customer questions and inquiries. Contact prescriber's offices (via fax or phone) for prescription refill requests. Requirements Two years of medical record-keeping, billing, or experience within a related healthcare field is preferred but not required. Prior experience with QS1 and Docutrack software in a pharmacy setting preferred by not required. Certified Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required. Proof of Pharmacy Technician Registration (license not required) is required by State of WI. Previous experience in a Long-Term Care pharmacy is preferred, but not required. High School graduate or equivalent degree required.Skills:
Ability to clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing with customers, peers, and managers. Excellent customer service skills. Attention to detail, accurate typing, excellent computer and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be capable of prioritizing workflow requirements.Hours:
Rockmed is open Monday-Friday from 8:00AM- 6:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM
- 3:00PM.
