Fitchburg, WI ABR is seeking Customer Care Representatives for our client in Madison, WI. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; will work until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Customer Care Representative will assist in the overall delivery of service and processing of client appointments and applications via telephone and on-line. Answering incoming telephone. Scheduling appointments. Responds to general questions, providing eligibility requirements. Refers clients to the appropriate caseworker and/or office location as necessary. Process on-demand and on-line applications. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee. The Customer Service Representative position will serve all communities within the state. Must have a passion and outgoing personality for working with limited and low-income households, excellent customer service, math and computer skills. This is a rewarding position assisting and processing applications over the phone to establish eligibility for energy assistance and collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders within the community, specifically veterans, disabled, elderly and families with young children. Experience working in a non-profit setting with limited income families, elderly and veterans is a plus. Customer Service Representative duties: Answering incoming calls Scheduling appointments Respond to general questions, providing eligibility requirements Refers clients to the appropriate caseworker and/or office location as necessary Process on-demand and on-line applications Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee Customer Service Representative experience and qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Previous Customer Service Experience with a passion to work with people Familiarity and experience with MS Office programs Reliable transportation to report to work Ability to provide excellent customer service and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Willingness and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Experience in keeping records, making oral and written reports preferred Ability to perform routine clerical work Ability to follow oral and written directions Fluency in Spanish and Hmong is a huge plus!
