Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Customer Service Representative, where you'll be the friendly face that greets customers and ensures a seamless shopping experience. In this energetic role, you'll handle transactions accurately, assist customers with their needs, and promote our products through engaging demos and upselling techniques. Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling strategies Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts to keep the store well-stocked Apply phone etiquette when handling customer calls, providing clear information and support Support the team with supervising responsibilities when needed, guiding new staff or assisting with training Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is essential Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customers effectively Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership skills are a plus for supporting team operations Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and customer service best practices Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create positive customer interactions Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on sales goals and customer satisfaction Join us in delivering exceptional service while developing your retail career!
