Job Description
Career Specialist/Business Service Representative - Do you like helping people? So do we! Career Specialist/Business Service Representative needed for a workforce development program in Fairmont WV. Duties include outreach and recruitment of participants, eligibility determination, developing participant resources, conducting assessments, and intensive case management. Develop specific employment plans for participants that lead to successful employment. Responsible for connecting job seekers and employers. Ensure participants have appropriate opportunities for work based learning and unsubsidized employment. Develop Work Experience with local employers. Monitor progress on work assignments and assist participants with transition to employment after assignment. Responsible for the development of industry-wide linkages with employers, training needs assessment, and establishing relationships with the business community. Program is very customer driven with set performance outcomes and goals. Being able to follow WIOA policies and local procedures is a must. Candidate must have strong written and verbal skills, be detail oriented, organized and able to meet all deadlines. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Required business travel mileage reimbursable. Bachelor's Degree and experience in a related field preferred. Ross is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Program.
