We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing to join an esteemed surgical team on a 13-week contract assignment. This position offers exposure to advanced procedural care, collaborative teamwork, and a dynamic schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

Guaranteed work week of 40 hours (GWW 40) 4×10-hour shifts Day shifts with varied start times Weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations A minimum of 14 call shifts required

Qualifications:

Active California Registered Nurse license BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be maintained annually) At least two years of recent CVOR nursing experience Minimum of one year as a travel RN in a similar setting Proven ability to manage fast-paced, high-stakes clinical situations

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver expert, patient-focused care in the CVOR, scrubbing and circulating for complex cardiac surgical cases Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary surgical team for optimal patient outcomes Ensure strict adherence to surgical protocols and patient safety standards Remain adaptable to rotating call shifts during weekdays, weekends, and holidays Effectively communicate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow staff to coordinate care throughout the perioperative process Why Apply?
