Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing environment for young learners. In this role, you will support classroom activities, change diapers, assist with daily routines, and ensure a safe, engaging space for children to explore and grow. Your positive energy and commitment to childhood development will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities and play-based learning experiences for children. Support daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and bathroom breaks to promote comfort and well-being. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols diligently. Engage with children through interactive play, storytelling, and social activities to foster development and social skills. Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents. Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring they feel valued and included. Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and consistent routines to promote a respectful learning environment. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure immediate response to emergencies. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage positively with children and families. Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining patience, compassion, and professionalism. A genuine passion for nurturing young children's growth through caregiving, teaching, and play.
