Job Description
Deal Team Associate Hall Capital Holdings, LLC Palm Harbor, FL Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $95,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications CPA Financial model construction Financial model development Automation Bachelor's degree GAAP Private equity AI Master of Business Administration Full Job Description About Hall Capital Holdings Hall Capital Holdings is a private family office dedicated to building enduring wealth through disciplined, long-horizon investing. We oversee a diversified portfolio spanning operating businesses, private equity, real estate, and public markets. Beyond investments, the office manages the full spectrum of the family's financial life — personal financial planning, treasury, tax coordination, and property oversight. Our culture is built on integrity, hard work, and hands-on stewardship. We move with the conviction of an owner, not the pace of a fund. As our acquisition pipeline grows, we are adding a high-impact generalist to our lean deal team. This is an opportunity to sit at the center of a highly active private investment office and contribute meaningfully across the entire spectrum of an M&A transaction. The Opportunity We are searching for a Deal Team Associate who thrives in a fast-moving, multi-process environment. You will work directly alongside the existing deal team to accelerate deal throughput, sharpen financial diligence, and bring operational discipline to an increasingly active M&A program. This role is deliberately broad — because we are. On any given week you might be building a diligence tracker for two simultaneous LOI processes, fielding calls from investment banks, and supporting month-end close for an existing portfolio company. If you are energized by that variety, you will love it here. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain acquisition models, financial forecasts, and capital allocation analyses across the portfolio Support KPI reporting, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly reporting packages for portfolio companies Assist the CFO with month-end and year-end close, ad hoc reporting, and coordination with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors Serve as a trusted partner to portfolio company leadership on growth initiatives and business objectives Keep active diligence processes on track — managing checklists, open items, and workstreams across simultaneous deals Coordinate with QofE providers, legal counsel, and management teams throughout due diligence Prepare summaries, IC support materials, and management presentation notes for assigned workstreams Support post-acquisition integration, including the 100-day plan and transition of key relationships Lead initial CIM review and prepare deal memo summaries for the Deal Team Draft IOIs and LOIs under the direction of senior team members Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline research, workflows, and transaction support Required Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or M&A advisory Strong accounting and financial modeling skills; comfortable reading and adjusting GAAP financials Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing accuracy or urgency Excellent written and verbal communication; able to represent Hall Capital professionally with banks and sellers High ownership mentality — you see what needs to be done and do it without being asked Comfortable operating across functions and systems in environments where the answer isn't always clear Maintains absolute discretion consistent with family office confidentiality expectations Experience in a family office, lower-middle-market PE, independent sponsor environment, or public accounting firm Familiarity with AI-powered tools for deal management, research synthesis, or document automation Exposure to portfolio company operations or post-acquisition integration Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus — not required What You Can Expect Opportunity to participate in deal economics on completed transactions, commensurate with contribution and experience Direct access to senior leadership and investment decision-making — no layers, no bureaucracy A culture that values ownership, candor, and long-term thinking above all else 401(k) Health care contribution Paid time off (PTO)
