Delivery Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers' locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, box trucks, or tractor-trailers
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle in a timely manner
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record
• DOT medical card
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles (if applicable)
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
• Strong physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
