Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic role, you will support dentists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental materials, and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures Assist dentists during various treatments including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners and digital radiography systems Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout appointments to ensure safety and well-being Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment in accordance with OSHA standards Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, answering queries, and guiding patients through their visit process Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental clinic or general dentistry environment is a plus Proficiency with dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, medical documentation, and understanding dental terminology Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus for managing medical records efficiently Knowledge of infection control practices, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques is required to ensure safe patient care Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards for radiation exposure Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks such as medical coding, record keeping, and appointment scheduling simultaneously Certification in dental assisting required Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference!
