Dental Assistant/Receptionist

```Duties``` must have dental office experience to be considered for this position.

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
• Register patients by verifying their demographic and insurance information
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Answer phone calls and provide assistance or direct calls to the appropriate department
• Collect co-pays and payments for services rendered
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow ```Requirements```
• Previous experience working in a medical office or as a medical receptionist preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with office equipment, including phone systems and computers
• Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including handling emergency situations in the ER Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
