30/60/90-day performance checkpoints | Working interview required About Family Smile Center Family Smile Center is a privately owned, high-volume dental practice serving Gwinnett County for nearly 20 years. Led by Dr. Tonique Reynolds, DMD, we specialize in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry including Allon-4, TeethXpress, Six Month Smiles, and Hiossen implants. We are deliberately transitioning to a higher-production adult and implant-focused model, and we need a hygienist who can grow with that direction. About This Role This is a contract position for a clinician who functions as a clinical partner to Dr. Reynolds. The selected candidate will serve a predominantly adult patient base, perform periodontal therapy, provide peri-implant maintenance, and actively support treatment acceptance and patient reactivation. Clinical contribution extends beyond routine prophylaxis. What You'll Do Participate in the daily morning huddle; contribute to scheduling and patient care planning Perform comprehensive periodontal exams and document findings on every patient Deliver prophylaxis, SRP, debridement, and irrigation calibrated to each patient's perio status Provide peri-implant maintenance and support implant treatment planning workflows with Dr. Reynolds Conduct oral cancer screenings and communicate findings to Dr. Reynolds Educate patients on their periodontal health and home care in a way that drives acceptance Present restorative and perio needs; actively support Dr. Reynolds' treatment recommendations Re-engage lapsed patients and book next appointments before dismissal Own your schedule. Cancellations are expected to be filled proactively Reappoint every patient before dismissal Post and audit all treatment in Dentrix daily Attend all staff meetings You're a Great Fit If You...
