We would love to meet you! We are a small, privately owned office located in Goodyear. We have great doctors and pride ourselves on providing great customer service to our patients! We are looking for a part-time hygienist to do Assisted Accelerated Hygiene and complete our talented staff. If you are a great team player and are passionate about what you do, send us your resume! Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options. Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants, fluoride treatments, and assisting during restorative or pediatric dentistry procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Review documentation for accuracy, update medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding. Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Ability to measure vital signs accurately and perform basic medical imaging procedures. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to pediatric and general dentistry patients. Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
