About the
Role:
The Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring patient satisfaction and the overall success of the dental practice. By leading the team, the Operations Manager is responsible for driving patient care, profitability, and fostering a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for high-quality care for all patients through thoughtful consultations. Assess, plan, and deliver training to employees to support high performance. Serve as the main point of contact for practice owners and dentists, ensuring standards of care are consistently met. Oversee profit and loss performance within the practice, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency. Promote a workplace culture that supports engagement and teamwork. Review monthly business results, align the sales plan to achieve goals, and develop strategies to increase profitability. Identify, hire, train, develop, and retain staff, ensuring staffing levels meet business needs. Uphold compliance with government and dental board regulations and standards. Manage the delivery of dentures from the initial consultation to the final fitting. Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and balance nightly deposits. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Regional Manager.Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Analytical thinker with a focus on leveraging data to make informed decisions. Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate issues appropriately. Effective at delegating tasks and holding others accountable. People-centric leader who motivates and inspires teams. High emotional intelligence and empathy, with strong active listening and conflict resolution skills.Minimum Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older. At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience. High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
