Lead Registered Nurse (RN) (Vascular Outpatient-based Lab)

Job Description :

We are looking for an energetic, compassionate and decisive RN to join our clinical team at a high-volume Outpatient-Based Lab (OBL). In this role, you will not only provide hands-on patientcare during vascular access procedures but also ensure the highest standards of safety, quality control, and staff compliance. Your responsibilities will include the following:

Clinical Leadership:

Manage conscious sedation protocols, monitor vitals intra-operatively, intervene immediately during complications, and assist surgeons during procedures if needed.

Patient Journey:

Oversee the full cycle of care, from pre-procedure assessment and quality checks to post-op recovery and discharge education.

Operational Excellence:

Serve as the clinical authority on the floor, training staff, maintaining OBL compliance standards, and managing electronic health documentation.

• No nights and weekends.

Job Requirements/Qualifications :

• Registered nurse duly licensed and in good standing in Michigan;
• 3+ years of experience in a joint commission-accredited ICU/ER, Dialysis or Vascular Access services center or Cath Lab;
• Comfortable with handling sedation and critical care thinking;
• Proficient in computing and EMR systems;
• BLS certification is required;
• ACLS certification and strong background in conscious sedation in ICU/ER/Cath lab preferred;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred.

From $70,000.00 per year
