This energetic role combines customer service, educational guidance, and studio management to create a welcoming environment for all ages and skill levels. As a Studio Guide, you will facilitate engaging experiences, ensure smooth studio operations, and promote a fun, safe, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages creativity and community connection. This is a permanent, year round position. •Not Seasonal• This role is ideal for candidates with a background in hospitality, boutique retail, guest services, or creative studios who are excited to apply their professional experience in a warm, dynamic, and highly customer‑oriented setting. We're seeking applicants who bring maturity, reliability, and a strong service mindset to the team. You may be a great match if you have: A polished, professional presence and excellent people skills Proven success in hospitality, customer service, boutique retail, or guest experience roles Confidence engaging with a wide range of customers Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to support high‑standards environments Comfort managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, hands‑on workspace A natural appreciation for creativity, design, or the arts (a plus, not required) Responsibilities include: Greeting guests and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere Providing excellent customer service and assisting guests throughout their visit Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually beautiful studio Supporting backroom pottery processes and studio preparation Processing transactions and assisting with checkout Experience & Qualifications Must be 18 years or older At least 1 year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred Friendly, confident communicator who enjoys interacting with people Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills Professional presentation and communication Comfortable using POS systems and basic math skills Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently Interest in art, creativity, or ceramics is a plus Must be available to work weekends and some weekdays Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Gratuity in addition to hourly wage Generous studio employee discount 401K Physical Requirements This role involves being on your feet and moving throughout the studio. Applicants should be able to use telephone, computerized cash register; perform repetitive movements of the arms and shoulders, stand for extended periods of time, move freely around the store, bend, twist, reach, squat, climb a ladder occasionally and regularly lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
