(417) 818-2339 Position Overview Studio 3 Dance Academy is seeking a visionary and collaborative Artistic Director to lead the creative direction of our studio programming and performances. This role is responsible for maintaining artistic excellence, supporting instructors, developing curriculum standards, and shaping the overall student and family experience within the studio. The ideal candidate is an experienced dance educator and leader with a passion for mentorship, choreography, and building a positive studio culture. Responsibilities Oversee the artistic vision and creative direction of the studio. Develop and maintain curriculum standards across all dance disciplines and age groups. Provide support to instructors and staff. Coordinate class offerings, program development, and seasonal scheduling in partnership with studio leadership. Lead choreography and creative planning for recitals, showcases, competitions, and special events. Ensure consistency in instructional quality and student experience across all programs. Collaborate with studio leadership on growth initiatives, branding, and community engagement. Foster a studio culture centered on excellence, creativity, inclusion, and personal growth. Qualifications Dance training and teaching experience across multiple dance styles. Previous leadership, choreography, or artistic direction experience preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills. Experience mentoring instructors or leading teams is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for arts education and student development. Availability for evening classes, performances, recitals, and special events.
