Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Pottery/Art Studio Creative Coordinator to lead and inspire our vibrant arts community. In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of engaging pottery and art programs, coordinate studio activities, and foster a creative environment that encourages artistic exploration for all ages. Your energetic leadership will ensure that our studio remains a hub of innovation, learning, and artistic expression. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape creative experiences while nurturing talent across diverse disciplines within the visual arts. Responsibilities Design and implement curriculum for pottery, sculpture, painting, and mixed media tailored to various age groups and skill levels. Manage daily studio operations including scheduling classes, workshops, and special events to maximize participant engagement Lead classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring effective classroom management and fostering a positive learning environment Collaborate with instructors to develop lesson plans Provide mentorship and support to instructors and students to promote artistic growth and confidence Organize youth programs teaching experience in visual arts Maintain a safe studio environment by enforcing safety protocols related to pottery equipment and other tools Track program participation and gather feedback for continuous improvement of offerings Promote studio events through community outreach and social media channels to attract diverse audiences Skills Strong background in curriculum development across multiple creative disciplines including visual arts Proven experience managing classroom settings with excellent behavior management skills Experience working with children and youth programs teaching visual art Knowledge of early childhood education principles experience preferred Ability to plan engaging lessons, and carry them out with patience. Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations for inclusive instruction Excellent organizational skills for lesson planning and event coordination Passion for fostering creativity in both children and adults through innovative arts programming Join us in creating an inspiring space where imagination flourishes!
