Job Description

GUEST ARTIST SERVICES OVERVIEW
Coordinate with visiting artists to ensure that their experience at our venue is enjoyable, professional, private and delicious. This requires someone who is very organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; self-motivated with a willingness to learn, take direction, and problem-solve in a fun, fast paced, creative environment. A friendly person with great communication skills, able to track expenses and hold to a budget. A car and clean driver's license are necessary.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all aspects of our visiting artists are taken care of. Communicate with tour managers to review their needs, and communicate with theater staff. Cleanliness of dressing rooms, kitchen, and appearance of greenroom Ability to perform physical tasks (carry groceries or a case of water) Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and remain within budget Ability to work independently and as part of the hospitality team Excellent customer service and communication skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
Hours:
This position requires a flexible schedule that include daytime, evening, weekends as needed. Regular responsibilities include remaining on-site after performances and/or after artist departure to complete greenroom cleanup and setup for next event. Late evening hours are frequently required. Average show day may be 10 hours and will change week to week depending on bookings.
Transportation:
This position requires a car and a valid license. Occasionally transporting artist to and from local hotel.
Catering:
This position requires creative platters inspirating delicious welcoming goodies. Handle all catering needs for the artists, ensure that dietary needs are met, from snacks to main meals during their stay. This requires ability to pick up food etc…
Cleaning:
Keeping the greenroom, dressing rooms and kitchen clean and orderly is imperative. You will work with our cleaning company to ensure cleanliness. But basic cleaning and maintenance pre-show and post-show will be your responsibility.
Professionalism:
It is required that you maintain a professional atmosphere backstage, being friendly, welcoming, and giving the artists their time to prepare for the performance, as well as help manage visitors to the dressing rooms.
