As a Caricature Artist, you'll create custom portraits that combine artistic skill, personality, and humor. This position is perfect for artists who love quick sketching, engaging with people, and capturing the fun of a zoo visit through art.
What You'll Do:
Create hand-drawn caricature portraits for guests in a live, interactive setting. Balance speed and artistic quality to ensure an enjoyable and efficient experience for each guest. Greet and engage visitors in a friendly, welcoming manner that enhances their day at the zoo. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and attractive display of samples. Handle POS transactions and assist with sales, pricing, and guest orders. Collaborate with team members and other departments during special events or promotions. Follow all zoo safety and operational guidelines.

Drawing or caricature experience required (portfolio strongly encouraged). Confident interacting with a variety of guests and drawing in front of an audience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a cheerful, approachable attitude. Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods and standing or sitting while drawing. Availability on weekends, holidays, and special event evenings required. _
