Job Description

The Event Lead is a key member of our Production team responsible for organizing, implementing, and managing events for our public and private clients. This role requires a working knowledge of audio and/or video and projection systems, as well as the ability to deliver, set up, and operate audio and video equipment. The Event Lead will work closely with the Operation Manager, Warehouse Manager, and other team members to ensure seamless event execution while prioritizing safety and adhering to company standards. This position also involves supporting other departments with a team-minded, positive attitude and exceptional communication skills. What Success Looks Like in
This Role:
Core Responsibilities Lead production teams for event set-ups, ensuring smooth operation and efficient execution. Possess knowledge of event production, including sound, lighting, staging, and trusses. Deliver, set up, and operate audio, video, stage, and lighting equipment, demonstrating proficiency in their usage. Have basic networking equipment and software knowledge to support event requirements. Support other departments as needed, fostering a collaborative and cooperative work environment. Adhere to company safety standards, prioritizing safety throughout all event-related activities. Facilitate deliveries and help prepare and set up event sites, ensuring proper equipment placement. Perform quality checks, inspections, and equipment repairs as needed to maintain optimal performance. Communicate effectively with vendors, management personnel, guests, and technical experts. Handle administrative work associated with event coordination and documentation. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude in all interactions and represent the company with professionalism. Assist as system tech during live shows and supporting the live sound mixing team. Represent the company during events in a professional and friendly manner. Operate the equipment at an event as an A1, V1, L1, or similar roles where needed. Must-Haves (Absolutes) Must be well-organized, possess excellent time management skills, and be able to communicate with colleagues and clients effectively. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills. A team player with great communication skills. Physical strength and stamina, able to lift up to 80 lbs on a regular basis. Flexibility schedule, available for nights and weekends, and able to travel out of state. Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a smartphone.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with sound, lighting, staging, and trusses. Proficiency in operating various audio and video equipment. Familiarity with event management software and tools. Experience with driving large vehicles and towing trailers.
Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
