Sr A/V Specialist

Description We are looking for a Senior A/V Specialist to join our team in Goleta, California. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile audio/visual systems and live event operations at state-of-the-art facilities. The role is critical to ensuring seamless execution of events and maintaining exceptional A/V system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced A/V setups, including specialized rooms and large meeting spaces.
• Oversee live events such as company-wide meetings, ensuring top-tier audio and video quality.
• Act as the primary liaison with A/V vendors to address urgent changes and special requests efficiently.
• Provide onsite support for local events, including managing room setups and transitions for varying formats.
• Configure and program A/V systems, including cameras and other devices, to ensure smooth event operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain A/V equipment to guarantee consistent performance at all facilities.
• Collaborate with external vendors to coordinate and execute high-quality A/V services.
• Manage sound and video systems with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Apply networking knowledge to optimize A/V systems and ensure reliability during events.
• Support additional tasks such as Zoom conferencing and other virtual meeting platforms. Requirements
• Extensive experience in detail-oriented A/V support, including live and corporate event management.
• Proficiency with A/V systems such as Dante, Q-SYS, Blackmagic, and other corporate technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for audio, video, and networking systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sound and video equipment for high-stakes events.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
• Experience coordinating with A/V vendors and managing event logistics.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and virtual meeting tools, including Zoom.
• Certifications or formal training in relevant A/V technologies are a plus.
