Job Description
Bring Events to Life Through Technology We are seeking a Lead Event Technology Specialist to support the on-site operation of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel's Audio/Visual Technical Team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced audio/visual professional who enjoys working with technology, supporting live events, interacting with clients, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced hospitality environment. In this role, you will provide customer service and technical support while helping ensure audio/visual equipment and event technology operate reliably from setup through the completion of each event. What You'll Do Provide creative technical audio/visual support for events and clients. Deliver, install, configure, test, and operate audio/visual equipment and electronic products. Maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment to ensure optimal performance and complete customer satisfaction. Troubleshoot technical problems in a timely and accurate manner. Provide end-user training and assistance as needed. Maintain accountability for all audio/visual inventory before, during, and after each event. Support the operation and maintenance of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel's in-house audio/visual equipment and assets. Provide excellent customer service while working directly with clients and event teams.
What We're Looking For Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Minimum of two (2) years of audio/visual technical experience, preferably in a hospitality environment with responsibility for direct client interaction, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Preferred:
Associate Degree in Audio Engineering, Digital Media, Broadcast Technology, Communications, or a related field, or completion of studies in a technical or vocational school. Why This Role?
