We provide sales, service, engineering, installation, design, and consulting solutions for some of the most exciting and high-profile environments in the country — including theme parks, houses of worship, higher education facilities, military installations, performing arts theaters, and college and professional sports venues. The Opportunity We have immediate openings for Lead AV Technicians . This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday-Friday, with possible overtime) based at one of our locations in Orlando, Pensacola, Miami, or Dallas. What You'll Do Install, configure, and test AV and low voltage systems in a variety of commercial and specialty environments Read and interpret project plans and specifications Commissioning AV systems with the client Work with control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) and IP-based AV products Uploading control system code Troubleshooting AV systems Collaborate with project teams to deliver installations on time and to standard Oversee and coordinate small-to-medium-sized projects from start to completion Teaching and mentor junior AV Technicians (as needed)
What We're Looking For Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to successfully pass a pre‐employment screening process that includes a criminal background check, drug screen, and driving record check Physical installation of equipment such as monitors, projectors, screens speakers, touch panels, lifts, microphones, table boxes, computer interfaces, VTC systems, cabling, and rack mounted equipment. Motivated team player with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and grow 3-5 years of consistent, recent experience in the audiovisual industry OSHA or lift certification is a plus Interpret Drawing packages a plus Preferred /Experienced Candidates :
Experience in live event production and troubleshootin Must be proficient in cable pulling, termination of all types of AV cabling, mounting techniques of all AV devices, testing procedures, commissioning and as‐built mark upsAVIXA/BICSI
certification a plus Familiarity with Crestron, Q-Sys, Harmon products, or similar control systems Industry certifications from manufacturers (Extron, Crestron, Harman, Biamp etc) Experience programming IP-based products with a foundational knowledge of computer networking Understanding of electrical circuits and wiring in low voltage applications Ability to manage small-to-medium-sized projectsJob Type:
