The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiovisual systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and hands-on experience with various equipment and software. The Technology Assistant, with the Techincal Director, will be responsible for ensuring that all audiovisual systems operate smoothly and efficiently during Sunday worship and special events. Duties Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audiovisual equipment. Collaborate with team members to set up ProPresenter for music rehearsals and Sunday worship, ensuring all components are functioning properly. Assist in running of sound and visual components during Sunday morning worship. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to assist in the repair of malfunctioning equipment. Requirements Must have experience with ProPresenter 7. Proven experience in audiovisual technology or a related field. Strong understanding of electrical systems and telecommunications. Familiarity with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) practices is preferred. Proficiency in software troubleshooting and computer hardware maintenance. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with other team members. Ability to be present in person on Thursday evenings for rehearsal and Sunday mornings for worship. Ability to work flexible hours as needed for events.
