The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, and familiarity with low and high voltage systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and safety compliance. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters (ohmmeters, ammeters), and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or failures. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure electrical work aligns with project specifications. Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during installation and repair activities. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards including NEC codes. Experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Ability to work on low voltage and high voltage systems safely. Construction site experience is preferred, along with familiarity with frame carpentry as needed for installation support. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Valid electrician's license or certification is highly desirable. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working at heights if necessary.
