Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Residential Audio Video Tier 2 Technician to join our team and elevate the home entertainment experience for our clients. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sophisticated audiovisual systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of audio, video, control systems, and networking solutions, delivering exceptional service and technical excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about cutting-edge AV technology and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations. Duties Perform complex AV system installations including wiring, cabling, equipment setup, and integration in residential environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to audio systems, video conferencing setups, control systems, and digital signal processing. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AV system diagrams to accurately install and service equipment. Configure and program audiovisual control systems and software to meet client specifications. Conduct system testing, calibration, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all AV components. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong background in residential audio/video systems installation and troubleshooting. Proficiency in electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and implementing low voltage wiring solutions. Knowledge of computer networking principles including Wi-Fi, Ethernet cabling, switches, routers, and telecommunication systems. Hands-on experience with control system programming (AV systems), digital signal processing, and software troubleshooting. Familiarity with video conferencing systems operation and audiovisual control systems operation. Ability to use hand tools, voltmeters, cable testers, and other mechanical tools effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on live event AV production projects is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and technical support. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
