Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the installation, set-up, and programming of automation systems including but not limited to: TVs, projectors, automated screens, sound boards, speakers, audio visual control systems, and more Perform maintenance on all A/V (Audio Visual) and lighting systems Run all types of wire and cable for both new construction and retrofit Knowledge in structured cabling and other advanced cabling technologies Maintain and troubleshoot A/V equipment as required Building and thorough set-up of equipment racks Installation and configuration of hard wired and wireless networks and all associate components (Networking/IT) Preserve customer and client confidentiality Physically be able to meet requirements of the job which include carrying items of at least 50+ pounds unassisted, standing on feet for up to 8 hrs. a day, bending down frequently, frequent work at heights up to 18ft which includes use of ladders and working in attics (6-18 ft) Additionally, the ideal candidate should: Express interest in A/V components and associated equipment Demonstrate strong communication skills including verbal and written Interact with both internal and external customers in a professional, customer service-oriented manor Work under pressure and meet deadlines through strong time management skills Maintain a professional appearance Read and comprehend architectural drawings, specifications, and other various types of "Industry Standard" construction documents and system drawings Communicate intelligently with Project Managers and co-workers Process necessary paperwork and take notes as required in a detailed oriented manor Be committed to quality and exceeding customer expectations Ability to work both independently and in a team atmosphere . Flexibility to work outside of regularly scheduled hours Willingness to travel as required (approximately 4-6 times a year)EMPLOYMENT DETAILS AND BENEFITS
