The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and managing audiovisual equipment for outdoor movie screenings and events. Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Setup:

Set up media equipment such as projectors, speakers, movie screens, inflate large screens, microphones, and other AV tools for Backyard Box Office events. Assemble and arrange additional support equipment like racks, lighting systems, concessions as needed.

Event Execution:

Ensure all AV systems are operating at peak performance during events. Conduct quality control analysis, including running video, audio, and signal testing. Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues on-site promptly.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their guests. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients. Mentor and guide newer team members to ensure high service standards.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Backyard Box Office event coordination team to ensure seamless execution of events. Communicate effectively with team members to keep events on track and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of experience working with audiovisual equipment. Previous experience in a live event setting is preferred. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check. You MUST be available nights and weekends after 4pm.

Skills:

Technical Proficiency:

Strong computer skills and familiarity with AV equipment, including projectors, speakers, and microphones.

Troubleshooting:

Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.

Physical Fitness:

Capable of lifting 50 to 80 pounds on a consistent basis and comfortable standing, walking, and navigating tight spaces during events.

Customer Service:

Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Organization:

Highly organized with attention to detail, ensuring all equipment is methodically sorted, stored, and maintained.

Reliable:

Must be reliable and show up on time for events, meetings, etc.

Preferred:

Having a truck, SUV, or van to transport equipment to event sites is strongly preferred. Tools of the
