• Event Technology Support One World Rental is hiring an experienced Freelance Field IT Technician to support a 2-day event at The Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.

If you have hands-on IT experience, are comfortable working with mobile devices, and can confidently troubleshoot issues onsite, this is a great opportunity to work with an established event technology company.

$30/day reimbursement for eligible expenses

Independent Contractor / 1099 About the Event This is a professional event where One World Rental will be providing iPhones onsite for use by the event team. The technician will be responsible for preparing the iPhones, making sure the devices are ready for use, testing them, and providing technical support throughout the event. You will be working directly alongside our client and the onsite event team , so this position requires someone who is comfortable communicating with clients and handling technical issues in a professional event environment. Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Setting up and preparing iPhones for the event Checking and testing all devices before they are put into use Configuring devices as required Checking connectivity and functionality Providing hands-on technical support during the event Troubleshooting device, connectivity, and configuration issues Working directly with the client and onsite event team Responding quickly when technical issues arise Keeping devices and equipment organized Assisting with additional technical requirements as needed You should be comfortable working through technical problems independently and finding practical solutions onsite . What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced technician who: Has previous Field IT, Event IT, or onsite technical support experience Has hands-on experience setting up and supporting iPhones or other mobile devices Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Can diagnose issues and find solutions independently Has excellent communication and customer-service skills Is comfortable working directly with clients Is professional and presentable Is reliable and punctual Can work independently and take ownership of an assignment Is comfortable working in a busy hotel/event environment Has reliable transportation to the venue Is available for both September 22 and September 23 Can work the full 9:00 AM

• 6:00 PM shifts Experience with event technology, mobile-device deployments, registration systems, corporate events, conferences, or hospitality environments is a strong asset.
