We deliver exceptional experiences through innovative design, cutting-edge technology, and expert craftsmanship. We are seeking a skilled Senior AV Installation Technician to join our growing team. Position Overview The Senior Audio Video Installation Technician is responsible for leading and executing residential and commercial AV installations. This role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership in the field, and a commitment to delivering top-tier customer experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Lead installation of audio/video systems including home theaters, distributed audio, control systems, and networking equipment
- Read and interpret system designs, blueprints, and wiring schematics
- Install and terminate cabling (Cat6, fiber, speaker wire, etc.)
- Rack building, equipment configuration, and system calibration
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet Gramophone quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout projects Qualifications
- 5+ years of AV installation experience
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, control systems (e.g., Control4, Crestron, URC), and networking fundamentals
- Experience with rack building, cable management, and system commissioning
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
