Job Description

The SAU IT department is seeking passionate, experienced, and driven students to join our Audio/Visual (AV) team. Our mission is to deliver top-notch AV services that enhance the quality of events across campus. We work with a range of AV systems, including microphones, amplifiers, speakers, cabling, mixers, projectors, cameras, and lighting systems, to ensure exceptional production quality. Our team is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service while enjoying the process of creating memorable AV experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage various AV systems for events, including regularly scheduled events such as chapel and DEEPER.

Support large-scale campus events like Hanging of the Greens, Cutting of the Ivy, and Commencement ceremonies.

Work flexible hours, approximately 8-15 hours per week, depending on the campus needs and your availability.

Collaborate with a team to ensure seamless AV delivery, adapting to the dynamic requirements of each event.

Ideal Candidates Will:

Exhibit excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Have a strong passion for AV technology and equipment.

Enjoy problem-solving and working with cutting-edge technology.

Be confident in their ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently when necessary.

Requirements (one or more of the below):

At least 1 year of experience mixing audio, preferably for bands or theater

Certification or specific studies in live sound or event production

At least 1 year of experience serving with a production team in a church or school setting, preferably running sound or working in post-production
