Lead AV Installer - Audio Visual Integration Raleigh, NC Join Next Level Technician as a Lead AV Installer in Raleigh, NC! Earn $24-$32/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and the opportunity to lead commercial audiovisual installations for a growing integration team. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can drive projects forward while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism. Position Summary The Lead AV Installer is responsible for leading field installations of commercial audiovisual systems, coordinating technicians onsite, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, making it ideal for an experienced AV technician ready to take ownership of projects and mentor others in the field. Responsibilities Lead installation of commercial AV systems from rough-in through final commissioning

Direct and coordinate daily activities of technicians and subcontractors onsite

Perform rack assembly, equipment mounting, cable installation, wire terminations, and system testing

Install displays, projectors, speakers, DSPs, control systems, and AV infrastructure

Read and interpret AV drawings, schematics, floor plans, and cable schedules

Maintain clean, organized racks and cable management throughout installations

Troubleshoot AV system issues and assist with commissioning activities

Perform basic DSP configuration and control system updates

Provide progress updates to project managers and installation leadership

Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and installation standards

Assist with customer training and system handoff when projects are complete

Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation Requirements 3+ years of commercial AV installation experience

Experience leading crews or serving as a senior AV technician onsite

Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, rack builds, cable management, and equipment installation

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and AV drawings

Experience with commercial displays, conferencing systems, projectors, speakers, and control systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Professional communication and customer-facing abilities

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications CTS or CTS-I certification

Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, Poly, or Cisco systems

Extron AV Associate certification

Experience with Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms deployments

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
