We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Entry-Level AV, Network, and Technology Integration Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a wide range of communication and audiovisual systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting cutting-edge projects. No prior experience is required—just a strong desire to learn, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive attitude! Duties Assist with the installation and configuration of audiovisual equipment, including displays, microphones, speakers, and control systems. Support network wiring and structured cabling installation using tools like crimpers, cable testers, and fiber splicing equipment. Perform basic troubleshooting on telecommunication systems such as VoIP phones, Cisco routers, Ethernet networks, and fiber optic systems. Conduct routine inspections of communication infrastructure using diagnostic tools to identify issues with cabling or equipment. Help with the setup and testing of telecommunications testing equipment to ensure system performance meets specifications. Support senior technicians in performing fiber splicing, cable termination, and low-voltage electrical wiring tasks following NEC standards. Maintain detailed documentation of schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation procedures for future reference. Requirements Strong interest in AV technology, networking, and telecommunications systems with a desire to learn technical skills. Basic understanding of computer hardware, network installation, Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and low-voltage electrical wiring. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters accurately. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cabling and electrical work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Willingness to work on-site in various environments including offices, conference centers, or industrial facilities. Ability to follow schematics, diagrams, and safety procedures diligently.
