You'll handle day-to-day project coordination on assigned jobs — scheduling, documentation, site visits, and communication among technicians, clients, and other trades — while developing toward independent management of your own projects.
Pay:
$70,000-$90,000/year, commensurate with experience. Full-time, salaried, with a company vehicle, laptop, and cellphone provided. What You'll Do Support project managers on complex AV and low-voltage integration projects, and independently manage smaller projects as experience grows Act as a point of contact between Osbee resources, clients, and other trades such as general contractors, electricians, and interior designers Review plans, proposals, scopes, schedules, and specifications; maintain project spec books, equipment lists, and job documentation Write clear emails, meeting recaps, RFIs, status reports, punch lists, and client and contractor communications Track open items, decisions, approvals, submittals, equipment, lead times, and project milestones Visit jobsites and verify field conditions match the drawings and project requirements Generate progress reports following project site visits and new project surveys Identify problems early and raise them before they affect schedule, cost, or quality Coordinate daily task assignments for field technicians and brief them before deployment to site Receive end-of-day debriefs from technicians and plan the following day accordingly Draft change orders for project manager review Produce rack sketches and simple architectural drawings in AutoCAD, and mark up and edit drawings to keep documentation current Maintain jobs in Osbee's project-management system What We're Looking For 1-2 years of experience with audio, video, or lighting systems, construction, or general low-voltage/AV installation — or in project coordination, architecture, engineering, or interiors Ability to read architectural and electrical drawings and learn construction documentation Familiarity with residential home control systems such as Crestron, Lutron, Savant, or Control4, or related home automation and entertainment hardware A deep interest in learning new technologies and hardware Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate a high level of detail concisely Confidence to speak directly by phone and in person with clients, architects, designers, builders, electricians, and vendors when it will resolve something faster than email Ability to work with a team to solve complex, critical-path challenges Ability to juggle many open items without losing track of details, staying proactive about following up and closing loops Ability to draft in AutoCAD; mid-to-advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office; willingness to learn manufacturer programming platforms Comfortable visiting active construction sites Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience A valid U.S. driver's license Compensation & Benefits $70,000-$90,000/year, full-time salaried Health insurance, with optional dental and vision Life insurance and employee assistance program Flexible spending account 401(k) with up to 4% company match 16 days PTO plus 10 paid holidays Company-sponsored certification training and professional development Company vehicle, laptop, and cellphone provided Employee discount Location & Schedule Full-time, in person, Monday-Friday, based out of our headquarters and showroom in Harrison, NY — easily reached via I-95 and the Hutchinson River Parkway, and near the Harrison Metro-North station.
