Job Description

Established Audio Video Company located in Wickliffe, OH has a vacancy for a full time, motivated, experienced person familiar with the Industry. AV Installer is responsible for the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of Smart Home Technologies
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, and programming of Low Voltage Systems to include Security/Access Control, Lighting Control, Surveillance, Audio Visual, Telephone and Sound Systems.
  • Installing audio video and security systems including components, wiring, and speakers.
  • Working on construction sites for new home construction projects to install needed cabling before drywall is installed.
  • Occasionally climbing in attics to install cable in retro homes.
  • Working with customers to train on the use of systems.
  • Mounting TVs, Speakers, Projectors, Cameras, etc inside of businesses and homes and programming for use.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications and operational/product manuals.
  • Develop and manage daily job site work plans and goals. Provide daily closeout reports against plans and outline any follow-up.
  • Accurately complete daily timesheets
  • Manage adherence to contract scope, specifications, and code on assigned projects.
  • Achieve job quality standards.
  • Provide work progress reports and project updates regarding production schedule, scope changes, material and labor management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, quality of service, and long-term relationships with the Company.
  • Travel to different job sites as needed in company owned vehicles .
