Key Responsibilities:
AV server room management and coordinating with the remote team to install and troubleshoot AV equipment. Set up and configure AV equipment (video conferencing systems, digital displays, projectors, microphones, speakers) for meetings, events, and presentations. Integrate AV systems with IT infrastructure (e.g., network-based AV solutions, cloud platforms like Zoom/MS Teams). Perform routine inspections, updates, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues promptly, including connectivity, audio/video quality, and control system errors. Provide on-site or remote technical assistance during live events, conferences, and hybrid meetings. Manage live streaming, recording, and post-production editing for events. Train staff on AV equipment operation and best practices. Create user guides, FAQs, and maintenance logs; document system configurations and incident reports. Stay updated on emerging AV trends (e.g., Crestron, Polycom, Q-SYS) and recommend upgrades. Work with IT teams, facilities, and external vendors to deliver seamless AV solutions. Liaise with suppliers for equipment procurement, warranties, and service contracts. Track AV inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate equipment loans. Offer responsive support via ticketing systems, email, or phone, ensuring high user satisfaction. Flexibility for early/late hours to accommodate global time zones and events.
