Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented PC Technician to support a Contract assignment focused on remote coordination of music player hardware refresh activities in Bolingbrook, Illinois. In this role, you will guide field personnel through installation tasks, verify that equipment and connected systems are functioning correctly, and keep deployment activity aligned with defined standards. This opportunity is well suited for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized under pressure, and is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues in a fast-moving remote environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct remote support sessions for bridge operators and onsite technicians during music hardware replacement work.
  • Confirm each site is prepared for installation by checking readiness, connectivity, and required pre-deployment conditions.
  • Oversee work against established rollout procedures to ensure consistency with technical and operational standards.
  • Track installation progress throughout each shift, record issues as they arise, and raise concerns when risks could affect completion.
  • Perform validation checks after installation to confirm the music player and related store devices are operating as expected.
  • Maintain accurate status updates and completion records for each deployment event.
  • Use remote access tools and jump-host environments to investigate problems and assist technicians with troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate live installation activity through Microsoft Teams while providing clear direction and answering questions in real time.
