Performance Innovations | Murrells Inlet, SC Are you the person everyone calls when the TV won't work, the Sonos disappeared, or the Wi-Fi is acting crazy? AV Performance Innovations is looking for an experienced AV Technician to join our team. We work on high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the area — from new construction prewire to finished home theaters, distributed audio, networking, cameras, lighting, and automation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You'll be hands-on installing, programming, troubleshooting, and servicing systems including: TV & Home Theater TV mounting, specialty mounts, soundbars, receivers, amplifiers, Dolby Atmos, and complete home theater systems. Distributed Audio Sonos, distributed audio, architectural speakers, outdoor audio, multi-zone systems, and audio troubleshooting. Networking & Wi-Fi Ubiquiti, TP-Link, Eero, client networks, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and residential network installations. Cameras & Security Ring, Uniview, Hikvision, NVRs, new construction camera prewire, and retrofit installations. Lighting & Automation Lutron and other smart-home systems, LED lighting, control systems, and specialty installations. Low Voltage / New Construction Prewire, trim-out, terminations, equipment installation, and working alongside builders, electricians, and other trades.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

Has real-world AV or low-voltage experience Can troubleshoot instead of simply swapping equipment Understands basic signal flow, networking, and system configuration Has Excellent Leadership skills Can work independently but knows when to ask for help Takes pride in clean, professional installations Is comfortable working in both new construction and existing homes Can communicate professionally with customers Is dependable, organized, and willing to keep learning You do NOT need to know every system we install. If you have a strong technical foundation and good hands-on experience, we can teach you the rest.

THIS IS MORE THAN JUST MOUNTING

TVs. Our technicians work on complete systems and are expected to understand how everything works together — from the wiring behind the walls to the customer's finished system. REQUIREMENTS

Previous AV, low-voltage, networking, electrical, or related technical experience Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to lift equipment and work on ladders Professional appearance and customer-service skills Willingness to work in attics, crawl spaces, new construction, and finished homes when needed

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
