Additionally, the company offers comprehensive A/V system installation services for commercial applications, supporting a wide range of events and business environments. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Audiovisual Technician / Installer to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audiovisual systems across various commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service abilities to ensure seamless AV system performance and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Install audiovisual systems including video conferencing setups, audio equipment, control systems, and cabling infrastructure . Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of AV equipment to ensure optimal operation. Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately implement system designs. Configure and operate digital signal processing devices, control systems, and software for AV systems. Manage field service tasks such as system calibration, testing, and troubleshooting during installation or after deployment. Assist in implementing audio systems for live events, ensuring high-quality sound reinforcement. Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble, mount, and secure AV components safely. Experience Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong understanding of AV system installation and troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical low-voltage wiring, schematics interpretation, and control system programming. Familiarity with computer networking principles relevant to AV systems. Experience operating video conferencing systems and managing live event AV production projects. Skilled in equipment troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network components. Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
