Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Audiovisual Technician/Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV systems and LED screens in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the AV industry, with hands-on experience in audio systems, cabling, and system installation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality audiovisual solutions for our clients. What You'll Do Install and configure commercial AV systems, including displays, projectors, LED video walls, speakers, microphones, cameras, control systems, and video conferencing equipment Assemble and install AV equipment, racks, cabinets, mounts, and related hardware Run, route, label, terminate, and test low-voltage and structured cabling Mount displays, projectors, screens, speakers, cameras, and other AV equipment Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and project documentation Test, troubleshoot, and verify system performance Maintain accurate installation documentation Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and customers Travel to customer job sites as needed Manage cabling and wiring for audio, video, and control systems to ensure clean, organized, and safe installations Perform routine maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance Follow safety protocols during installation and troubleshooting processes to maintain a safe work environment What We're Looking For commercial AV installation experience required Experience with low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and AV integration Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong understanding of audio systems and AV system installation Skilled in troubleshooting AV equipment to diagnose and resolve issues promptly Proficient in cabling techniques for audio, video, and control systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure high-quality installations Knowledge of safety standards related to AV system installation and electrical wiring Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation Willingness to travel as needed Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
