This position supports the department's technology, digital communication, and workflow needs by developing, maintaining, and improving SharePoint sites and other digital resources. Responsibilities This position assists with ServiceNow requests and solutions, creates and edits basic video and digital content, and identifies practical uses of technology to strengthen communication, collaboration, organization, and operational efficiency. The specialist works closely with departmental stakeholders, Information Technology, Communications, vendors, and other partners to understand business needs, troubleshooting issues, coordinate solutions, and help employees effectively use available systems and digital tools. Develops, configures, organizes, and maintains departmental SharePoint sites, pages, lists, document libraries, calendars, forms, navigation, and related resources. Improves the usability, accessibility, structure, and visual consistency of SharePoint content in alignment with organizational standards. Manages routine content updates, permissions, document organization, metadata, and site-maintenance activities. Supports Microsoft 365 tools and basic automated workflows that improve collaboration, information sharing, tracking, and reporting. Assists the department with ServiceNow requests, forms, workflows, knowledge articles, reports, and other approved platform functions. Gathers and documents business requirements and coordinates with Information Technology or platform administrators to develop or improve solutions. Tracks technology requests, follows up on open items, tests proposed solutions, and communicates progress to stakeholders. Identifies opportunities to simplify manual processes through forms, workflow tools, automation, and other approved technologies. Records, edits, captions, and prepares basic video content for training, presentations, employee communications, events, and departmental initiatives. Supports the development of digital presentations, graphics, forms, surveys, newsletters, and other technology-enabled communications. Formats digital content for use across SharePoint, Teams, email, learning platforms, and other approved channels. Coordinates with Communications and other partners when content requires specialized production, branding review, or broader distribution. Consults with leaders and team members to understand operational needs and recommend practical, user-friendly technology solutions. Provides basic troubleshooting and user support for departmental digital tools and escalates complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical team. Develops job aids, instructions, frequently asked questions, and other documentation to support consistent use of systems and tools. Provides demonstrations, orientation, and basic training to help employees adopt and effectively use technology solutions. Maintains project plans, request logs, documentation, testing results, and regular status updates for management. Monitors emerging technologies and recommends appropriate opportunities to improve departmental services, communication, and efficiency. Performs other duties as assigned in support of departmental technology and digital operation Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, digital media, communications technology, business, or a related field and five (5) years of relevant experience; or High school diploma or GED and nine (9) years of relevant experience supporting technology systems, digital platforms, web content, or business applications. Relevant experience should include work with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. Experience with ServiceNow, workflow tools, digital content creation, or basic video editing is preferred. Microsoft, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Power Platform, or related technology certification preferred; not required unless designated by Human Resources. Benefits and Perks Competitive Pay of $36.00- $39.
