- $32 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health savings account 401(k) 3% Match Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Google Workspace Google Docs Multitasking Driver's License Organizational skills Full Job Description Overview We install and support audio/video systems, conference room AV, sound and speaker systems, digital signage, structured low-voltage cabling, (and more), for clients across the region.
- Respond to customer-service-related issues promptly
- Test and document readings for customer systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic components
- Handle on-call duties on a regularly scheduled basis
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Operate test equipment including Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multimeter, and Impedance Meter
- Assist with preventive maintenance of customer equipment
- Accurately track timesheets, service/installation tickets, and inventory items
- Full compliance with the company's and customer's safety program
- Perform all duties of an AV installer as required
- Notify the Service Coordinator of any follow-up items required on service calls Qualifications
- Prior experience in AV/audio-visual, low-voltage or structured cabling, or a similar hands-on trade
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, personable, and well-organized
- Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers including Google Suite (Calendar, Chat, Docs, Meet, Sheets, Slides)
- Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills that allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date
- Valid and current driver's license
Travel:
Out-of-town travel required.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit, and use hands and fingers. Some light lifting, reaching, grasping, and carrying required. Most work is performed indoors; occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.Job Type:
