Job Description

Overview King's Church is seeking a skilled and reliable Sunday Production Technician to oversee and execute all audio and visual elements for our weekly worship service. This is a contract, part-time role (5-10 hours/week) focused on ensuring Sunday services are technically excellent, distraction-free, and executed with consistency. This job specifically will require being onsite from 8am-12:30pm on Sunday mornings. This role is not responsible for long-term systems design or full team development, but will provide stability, leadership, and technical excellence each Sunday while working alongside volunteers. Duties Sunday Service Execution (Primary Focus) Lead all audio and visual production for Sunday services (8:00 AM-12:30 PM) Mix front-of-house (FOH) audio to ensure clarity and consistency Manage wireless microphone systems and basic RF coordination Oversee slides/presentation (ProPresenter or equivalent) Support livestream execution and ensure clean broadcast audio Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time Volunteer Support Provide light guidance and direction to volunteer tech team members Ensure volunteers are clear on roles and expectations each Sunday Maintain a calm, solutions-oriented presence during services Basic System Stewardship Maintain existing console scenes and workflows Flag technical issues, upgrades, or concerns to church leadership Ensure equipment is properly powered down and secured after services Experience Demonstrated experience in live audio production (church or comparable environment) Ability to confidently mix FOH audio in a live setting Familiarity with digital audio consoles (e.g., Behringer X32 or similar) Basic understanding of livestream and presentation systems Strong troubleshooting ability under pressure Reliable, punctual, and consistent Experience in a church production environment Familiarity with wireless RF systems Ability to quickly adapt to different rooms and setups
Pay:
$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
