Job Type:

Part-Time (3-5 hours per week) 

Compensation:

$25.00 per hour 

Reports To:

Associate Pastor for Operations and Congregational Care 

Location:

Ann Arbor, MI (Saturday on-site required; some prep work can be done remotely) Schedule 

Primary Hours:

Saturdays from 4:15 PM to 6:15 PM (covers setup, live service from 5:00-6:00 PM, and teardown). 

Additional Hours:

Flexible weekly prep time. Job Summary The Livestream Technician manages all aspects of video production for our weekly Saturday evening worship service. Responsibilities include building the weekly ProPresenter scene collection, handling live audio/video production, managing physical equipment setup, and archiving files. We are fully willing to train the right candidate on our specific audio and video systems. Key Responsibilities 

Pre-Production:

Build and prepare the ProPresenter scene collection for each weekly service. 

Live Production:

Set up microphones and video screens, operate the live broadcast, and tear down equipment after the service. 

Post-Production:

Back up the weekly scene collection onto the church's Mac Mini. 

Team Leadership:

Support and manage volunteers assisting with the livestream. Qualifications & Experience 

ProPresenter:

Previous experience creating and using ProPresenter for streaming. 

Technical Skills:

Basic PC, Mac, and network troubleshooting abilities. 

Camera Operation:

Basic knowledge of NDI PTZ cameras and their operation. 

Audio Mixing:

Basic knowledge of audio mixing is a plus (willing to train). 

Education:

Documented related experience in lieu of a specific degree. Core Competencies 

Ability to remain calm and problem-solve when technical issues arise. 

Leadership:

Ability to effectively manage and collaborate with a team of volunteers. 

Collegiality:

A positive, collaborative attitude when working alongside church staff and volunteers. Additional Opportunities There may be opportunities for additional paid hours to livestream weddings, memorial services, special functions, or occasional Sunday morning services.
