is a Las Vegas-based hip-hop internet radio station producing live broadcasts, interviews, video content, and special events. We are looking for a dependable and motivated AV Technician to support our daily audio and video operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is interested in broadcasting, cameras, and media production. Previous professional experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Job Responsibilities Set up, operate, test, and maintain audio and video equipment for broadcasts, interviews, recordings, and events. Operate cameras and assist with switching between multiple camera angles. Set up microphones, headphones, lighting, computers, cables, and related equipment. Test audio and video signals before each broadcast or recording. Monitor equipment and production quality during live broadcasts. Identify and troubleshoot basic audio, video, camera, cable, and connectivity problems. Keep equipment clean, charged, organized, and ready for use. Safely connect, secure, label, and store cables and equipment. Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to management. Assist on-air personalities, producers, artists, guests, and other staff with technical needs. Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude when working with station guests and clients. Follow station procedures and protect passwords, recordings, unreleased content, and other confidential information. Assist with additional studio and production duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Interest in radio, broadcasting, video production, or digital media. Basic familiarity with cameras, microphones, computers, or audio/video equipment. Interest in learning camera operation and video switching. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to remain calm and professional during live broadcasts or technical problems. Dependable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail. Comfortable receiving instructions, accepting feedback, and learning new equipment and software. Able to work independently and as part of a production team. Comfortable working in person and moving around the studio to set up equipment. Flexible availability for broadcasts, interviews, events, evenings, or weekends when scheduled.
