Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator / Lease Operator to support day-to-day field operations. This role focuses on monitoring and maintaining production equipment, ensuring efficient oil and gas production, and supporting safe and reliable lease operations. The ideal candidate is technically capable, comfortable with computers, and eager to learn and grow within the oilfield industry. Responsibilities Monitor and operate oil and gas production equipment, including wells, separators, tanks, and associated facilities Perform routine lease checks to ensure proper production rates and equipment functionality Record production data, pressures, temperatures, and fluid levels accurately using digital systems Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and report abnormalities Conduct basic maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures Maintain clean and organized well sites and equipment Assist with startups, shutdowns, and production optimization efforts Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding field conditions Skills Basic understanding of oilfield production operations (lease operations experience preferred) Comfortable using computers, tablets, and digital reporting systems Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently in field environments Good communication and teamwork skills High attention to detail and commitment to safety Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Qualifications 1-5 years of oilfield experience, preferably in production or lease operations Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn will be considered High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field locations Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to lift equipment and perform physical field duties
